Pepe variations seem to either plummet into the abyss or rocket through the stratosphere.

Pepe Unchained was a presale running 6 months.
Their utility was a layer 2 on Solana.
They raised $80m.

Wallstreet Pepe was a presale running 4 months.
Their utility was a private alpha telegram group.
They raised $70m.

These aren't crazy utilities, so what is the reason they raised so much in presale?
I'd love to hear your thoughts but here's my best guess on their strategy.
Youtubers. PR. Ads.
This seems to be all they do in their campaigns.
One thing I've noticed is their PR actually embeds the KOL YouTube Vid in it. Perhaps this is a golden key to conversions? They also audit, have an "as seen in" section in the landing page(linking to PR), and they offered higher than average staking rewards, between 100% and 360% APY.
This strategy alone could probably raise $10m but $80m in a sideways/down market seems pretty wild.

My fellow founders, what are your thoughts on this?
Is there anything you see differently?

I have a theory on what might be taking place here.....

I believe this is manipulation at its finest and the organization works like this:

1. Launch a presale
2. Buy millions of dollars worth of your own presale (send money to yourself)
3. Advertise on all coins lists, banner spots, and news sites
4. Get retail to buy in
5. Launch coin, slow rug/exit
6. Repeat

And I believe this is a rinse and repeat method that has been taking place presale after presale growing larger and larger each time they rinse retail for millions.

Launch a presale, buy 20 million of your own (which just goes back in your own pocket), spend a couple million on advertising, profit X.

The amount raised on these coins during current market conditions does not make and logical sense and i bet if you dug into the early "presale investor" wallets you will find all sorts of strange behavior.
